12U ('11 & '12 Birth Years)
The Jr Mustangs 12U Travel team is designed for players that seek to compete with teams from all around the country and to develop the skills and disciplines necessary to progress toward national bound programs and collegiate hockey.
Jr Mustangs are founding members of the Rocky Mountain Hockey Federation which includes a 12U division. Beyond league play, the 12U Travel team will play in-state and out of state tournaments and showcases designed to challenge players to grow and develop.
Ages
Players born between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2012 are eligible and encouraged to try out.
When
Tryouts will be held in May.
The season begins in August and runs through February. In some cases, the season can extend into March.
Where
The Jr Mustangs are based at the Weber County Ice Sheet but practices and home games will be held across the Wasatch Front.
Practices
The 12U Travel team will practice ~2-3 times per week.
In total, the Team will have ~75 hours of practice.
Games
The 12U Travel team will play ~40 games during the season including league play, tournaments and local games.
Jerseys
Each player is required to purchase one home and one away game jersey and game socks.

Extra Costs
Tuition includes practice and game ice, tournament fees, coach compensation and coach travel and other team fees.
Soft-goods, uniforms, equipment and player / parent travel is not included.
